The King's First Interview

Currently "talking"
Steve King has had his first interview since rejoining Lewes. He looked around the dripping pan lovingly, clearly happy to be back. Some things that he mentions are that he is "in talks" with some players, the players he means are thought to be Steve Robinson, Gary Holloway, Dale Binns and Paul Booth, but he has missed out on the signings of Michael Jordan and Jay Conroy, who have stayed in the blue square south and have gone to Boreham Wood and Sutton  Utd. respectivly.

All these players are from Farnborough but all played for Lewes under Steve King before. King also states that there are a "few already here" that he wants to keep who he has already spoken to. One of these players is thought to be David Wheeler who is expected to leave the club to be closer to university. However, it is well known that King has always wanted Wheeler and tried to sign him for Farnborough during his time there. Also it is well known that Wheeler shares a great love for Lewes.

The other major point of interest for Lewes fans is that they have a pre-season friendly booked with St Neots town, a club in Camberidge with a new stadium and wonderful facilities.
